Take a look at the project page of chromium linux:
and select your distribution version of ubuntu.
Putting ubuntu 9.04 KK for example,
deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/chromium-daily/ppa/ubuntu karmic main deb-src http://ppa.launchpad.net/chromium-daily/ppa/ubuntu karmic main
Attach those repository in your source.list file in /etc/apt/
After that you should need the key to make that repository trusted. Just do following instruction.
sudo apt-key adv --recv-keys --keyserver keyserver.ubuntu.com \
0xfbef0d696de1c72ba5a835fe5a9bf3bb4e5e17b5
now you can get the package list with "sudo apt-get update” and after that install any of following packages you need
chromium-browser - Chromium browser
chromium-browser-dbg - chromium-browser debug symbols
Enjoy chrome~
BTW, in my ubuntu environment chrome is not working properly. It only shows me “Aw, Snap!”
So do I feel like that!
